Our Mission
Clinicians First specializes in delivering cutting-edge physical therapy continuing education. We offer in-person courses that provide valuable skills applicable immediately in clinical practice, enhancing the effectiveness of patient care.

Who We Are
Clinicians First is owned and operated by Kelvin Carter, PT, DPT, OCS. Kelvin received a BA in Exercise Science from Hope College (MI) in 2011 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University (GA) in 2014. He went on to receive an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2016. Kelvin brings 11 years of clinical experience, 8 years of leadership experience, and a unique clinician-forward perspective to the physical therapy continuing education world. As a former collegiate basketball player, Kelvin holds coaching, mentorship, and a team-oriented approach as paramount pillars necessary for personal development and success. An avid Michigan sports fan, Kelvin currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and two sons.
